Today I witnessed a rare event. I saw an elderly man walking with his empty grocery cart back to the store to put it away. It was a hot day and he was moving slowly. An airman came waking out of the store.. walked right up to the old man, spoke to him briefly, then took the cart from him and put it away. The old man sat and watched him, turned and walked back to his car, and had a ginormous smile on his face .
It is the little things that make a difference everyday after all.
